You know a dream is like a RIVER....

We love the river!  Any river!  And I love that that same passion is being instilled in our boys!  This was their first "white water" experience, however, it was far from white water.....a few spots of the lower Hiwassee river with some good low key "ripples."  Either way...the boys loved it!  Thanks to my parents who hooked us up with a great cabin with a pool and minutes away from the river!

Not a bad view!!!

The kids love their Uncle Burt!

Splish Splash It's a Birthday Bash

My first baby is 6.  How did that happen???  And my (most likely) last baby is 1.  How did this happen???  The years are flying by too quickly.  Between the schedules, dinners, laundry, day to day routine of life....it just ticks on by.  But one thing is for sure....we are two very blessed parents!!!  Since Baker and Elle's birthdays are only days a part we decided to sort of throw Elise in with Baker.  He invited some of his favorite buddies (and Mommy and Daddy's) to come swim, slide, shoot water guns, and grill out.  I think everyone had a blast!
 Happy Birthday Little One!

Baker was excited about his "big" cupcake!

Just chillin poolside with our cupcakes!
 Mommy's besties!
The awesome Daddy's playin it solo with their kiddos (except Josh)

Silly kiddos.  Unfortunately we missed out on capturing all the ones that came to the party!  Mommy forgot to pull the camera out at the beginning!  We love and appreciate all our dear friends and family that love our kiddos so and make such an effort to invest in our lives!  Thanks for celebrating with us!

Back to School

I can't believe my first baby is officially starting Kindergarten.  Yes, he pretty much had a year of it last year in Readiness....but now it truly begins.  No more holding back time.  He is officially growing up!  Baker is going to a wonderful school this year and we couldn't be happier with how well he is doing!

And this one....He looks like he should be starting Kindergarten...maybe even first grade.  Caleb is a beast!  But oh so lovable!  This is his last year in preschool....however it is ONLY for social benefit.  The child is already doing all the work Baker is doing....and probably doing it better.  He has been blessed with great teachers and some of his old classmates from last year.
