October, in a nut shell, has been INSANE!!!! We have literally been busy every single weekend....so much so that I made the mistake of "thinking" to myself...."I can't believe I haven't gotten sick yet. I always get sick when I get run down." And yes....I am just recovering from strep throat. I made it to the first weekend in November. It really was only a matter of time. While October has been hectic, it has probably been one of the most fun months of my life. I have gotten to spend each weekend with a different set of our very best friends. From high school friends to college to church friends to family....it doesn't get much better than that. Here is a quick look into our world....
My high school reunion was a blast. I have been very blessed with seeing my friends over the past ten years, however, it was great to spend time with all of them at the same time. I think we should have our own reunion every couple of years.
THOMAS SHEDDAN GOT MARRIED!!! Could there be a better reason to celebrate! Little Moser! We spent a wonderful, memorable weekend in Memphis with some of our closest, favorite friends. Visiting with them makes me remember all the fun we used to have. I wish they were daily in our lives, but am thankful they are simply in our lives!!!
It is very rare to have friends in your life that truly know you inside and out. These girls were my joys, tears, laughs....my everything. They made me who I am today. I was so happy to get to spend Brandy's 30th birthday with all of them!
The Stewart cousins are my only first cousins. I remember growing up thinking how cool we all were. And now that I am grown up....we are still pretty darn cool. I love our uniqueness and yet the real similarities that we all display. We celebrated cousin Bill's wedding in the Blue Ridge Mtns at the Toccoa River.....could it be any more fitting?!
Halloween was a blast. Josh and I went as Al and Peg Bundy. Our community group at church had a Murder Mystery Party. I am NOT an actress by any means....and am very uncomfortable when I am in those situations. However, I found my role as the sassy, "forward" secretary who was having an affair with her dead boss and did not like all the other "young" actresses very easy to play. Not sure that that is a good thing! It was fun! We spent Halloween night with my family, trick or treating at Teck's. Baker loved answering the door! I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend Halloween.
